Shimmery purple smokey eye

Hey everyone!

Today im going to show you guys how i did this shimmery purple smokey eye. This look is great for parties, clubbing, christmas etc. Mostly all the products i used are cheap, therefore, they are perfect for the everyday female!

Before doing my face makeup, i started on the eyes as we can clean up the fall out from the eyeshadows a lot easier. To prevent the eyeshadows from creasing, i used Urban Decay's primer potion in Eden as my base. I then used the shade Love You More from my I Heart Makeup's Death by Chocolate palette which is a beautiful shimmery plum shade. You can stop there with the lid for a more subtle purple shade but i decided that i wanted to go all out and add a punch of colour. So on top of that shade i used an eyeshadow from Accessorize called Ultra Violet. This eyeshadow is honestly so pigmented, i was really suprised! Moving on to the crease, i used the shade One More Bar from the Death by Chocolate palette and placed that in the outer crease and lightly blended in. For the lower lash line i mixed One More Bar and All is Lost, i diffused this from outer corner to where my bottom lashes start. For my inner corner, i used YDK from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and applied generously. To finish off i lined my waterline and tight line with a black eye pencil and did a winged line on my upper lash line. Finally, i applied Ardell's Demi Wispies lashes.

For the face make up (in case you were wondering) I used L'Oreal True Match foundation and LA Girl's pro conceal concealer. I wanted a dewy look so i didnt set my make up with any powder. I then contoured my face using my City Color contour kit, for blush i used Revolution's blush in Sugar and for highlighter i used the highlight from Sleek's face contour kit. On my lips im wearing Sleek's matte lip cream in Birthday Suit.
